Michael Guess manages all top-down business, financial and cyber vendor risk analysis including identifying relevant key risk indicators and metrics. He has served as a Director of Operations at a FinTech start-up company and has held various roles such as managing vendors and supply chains, vendor contract management, large scale implantation, and product launch projects and supporting medium and large-scale business development teams. Michael has an MBA from UC Irvine.
Brent Stokes began his career in financial services with Prudential Financial back in 1991 and then moved over to residential and commercial mortgage banking from 1996 to 2008 working at financial institutions such as Wells Fargo, Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase. After the mortgage meltdown, Brent joined MMREM Capital to conduct asset management and portfolio risk management on contracts with HUD, Fannie Mae, FDA, and Bank of America. He has served as the Managing Director of a real estate data start-up in 2012 and then founded Venture Lynk Capital and Advisory in 2015.
Kermit Johnson has a twenty-plus years career with a focus on improving management and maturation for risk-based information and cybersecurity enterprise programs. His career has included Information Technology, Information Security and Cybersecurity experience with half in the financial sector and the remainder in Government, Manufacturing, Healthcare and Consulting. Though his career started with delivery of technical solutions it quickly expanded to progressive levels of responsibility into leadership roles building and managing programs and teams of information security technical, governance and risk experts. Along the way he has earned notable credentials among which include an MBA, a MS in Information Technology and Management, as well as multiple cybersecurity certifications including the CISSP and C|CISO. He has delivered cybersecurity strategic roadmaps and supported the execution of the project deliverables at national and global organizations. Notable companies include The Wound Pros, The Bank of Montreal, Tenneco, HSBC, and Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago.

Kathryn Vatt is an accomplished Intellectual Property expert with more than 25 years of experience, marked by her exceptional contributions to the field. With a Bachelor's degree in Biology from The University of Pennsylvania, she laid the foundation for her successful career in patent examination and prosecution. Kathryn’s skills in identifying and safeguarding innovative ideas were honed during her decade-long tenure as a Patent Examiner at The United States Patent and Trademark Office. To further enhance her technical and legal expertise in Intellectual Property, Kathryn pursued a Master's in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University. She subsequently retired from federal service and transitioned into IP development and consulting, where she has been able to share her expertise with a broader range of clients.
